CAN-Bike 2 Training Webinar
Cycling season is up and running. We welcome friends of ReForest London to join us outdoors for a training session that discusses safer cycling. This is a good time to take your bike out of storage and participate in a refresher on proper safety etiquette.
You will learn:
- Defensive riding skills
- Traffic assessment skills
- How to do a mini bike inspection and helmet check
CAN-Bike curriculums are oriented toward recreational and utilitarian cycling to build confidence up while riding on the road and is the only nationally accredited cycling program of its type in Canada.
CAN-Bike 2 – gives an overview of cycling safety and basic traffic dynamics. Participants need to have basic skills and ability to ride a bike. Please RSVP in advance of the date as class size is limited. The course is held outdoors and will occur rain or shine. Please arrive a few minutes early so we start on time. Also bring a bike in good repair, helmet, water bottle, snack, sunscreen and proper shoes.
Prefer an in-person training session? Then register for the training session at the Ponds on June 18. If this date is not at all suitable for you, visit http://www.canbikelondon.ca/schedule/ for other in-person options in June.
